Michael Stefano, born Michael Vito Menta on August 29, 1969, is a well-known American pornographic actor and director of Spanish-Italian descent. Stefano entered the adult film industry in 1997, after working various jobs in the restaurant and hotel industries. His career in the industry quickly took off, and he appeared in over 1,000 films, performing in more than 3,000 scenes throughout his career. His directorial debut came in the mid-1990s under the name “Luciano,” and he later worked with major studios like Extreme Associates and Red Light District.

In 2003, Stefano co-founded Platinum X Pictures alongside fellow performer Jewel De’Nyle, whom he briefly married. Throughout his career, Stefano received numerous accolades, including AVN’s Male Performer of the Year in 2004 and induction into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2010. Although he retired from the industry several times, Stefano returned to adult films and remained active as of 2024, establishing himself as a respected figure in the adult film world.
